There is an antidote a vet can administer, Vitamin K. To put a 50 lb dog in danger, the animal will have to consume over 7 lbs of bait as compared to about 4-8 ounces of d-CON or other products with the chemical bromadiolone or difethialone.

Unlike most other products on the market today, Warfarin, the active in most Kaput products, poses very little threat to non-target animals (University of Nebraska) and has a half life of 48 hours. However, as with most chemicals, always call your vet.

Kaput is a "blood thinner" chemical, the same as the human drug "coumadin". Our products, along with the competitors, kill the rodent within an average of 5 days.

Our high seed content bait is VERY attractive to rodents. The chemicals used in other rodenticides may only take a few ounces to kill a 50 lb dog and may be in the tissues of the rodents for over 180 days. UNE says it would take over 7 lbs of the active ,Warfarin, in many of our Kaput products to kill a 50 lb dog and the half life of this active is only 48 hrs.

With the Mouse Blocks or Combo Mini Blocks, put out two cubes per placement. For the place packs, use only one. Read the label for use directions.

Flawed testing conducted over 30 years ago generated a scare that forced the industry to move almost entirely to more toxic chemicals in rodent baits. Testing over the past 10 years by leading researchers in the industry have proven this "panic" to be false.
